Tote-Ally Rentals is a brand-new family business in Janesville, Wisconsin. Ted and Ali Lindemulder started it with their kids to make moving easier, cleaner, and friendlier for the community.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many totes do I need, and how far in advance to do I have to book?
- 1-bedroom home: 20–30 totes
- 2-bedroom home: 35–45 totes
- 3-bedroom home: 50–70 totes
- 4+ bedroom home: 75+ totes
We recommend reserving at least 1-2 weeks before your move date. You can order within 24 hours of delivery, depending on availability. Refunds are available if we are contacted within 48 hours of delivery.
How do I book a rental, and how does the process work?
Reserve your totes online, by phone, text, or email. Once your rental agreement is completed, we’ll deliver the totes to your home or business. Pack and use them during your move, then contact us when you’re finished, and we’ll schedule pickup. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, and other common payment methods.
How long is the rental period, and what if my moving date changes?
Our standard rental period is two weeks, with extensions available if needed. If your moving schedule changes, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll work with you to adjust your delivery and pickup dates. Early pickup may also be available upon request.
How should I use and care for the totes?
No tape is required, and we ask that you do not use zip ties, as they can damage the totes. Labels or color-coded cards may be used if they can be removed without leaving residue. You do not need to clean the totes before returning them; we sanitize and inspect every tote after each rental. Customers may be responsible for lost, stolen, or significantly damaged totes beyond normal wear and tear.
Are the totes durable and safe for my belongings?
Yes. Our sturdy, reusable totes are designed to safely hold up to 75 pounds and provide better protection than cardboard boxes. They are water-resistant, helping protect items from rain and moisture. Fragile items should still be wrapped with packing paper, bubble wrap, or towels for added protection.
Do you offer additional moving equipment?
Yes. Every rental includes a tote dolly, and additional equipment such as hand trucks may be available depending on availability. Short-term storage use may be available —contact us to discuss your needs.
